Measuring Guide
It is important to measure as accurately as possible! Keeping in mind that our sliding door system has some tolerance.
When measuring do not allow for the thickness of bottom reveals/battens. We willautomatically factor them in when calculating door sizes. However, if you are installing your own reveals/battens you must measure the opening within your installed sections and confirm when placing the order.
1. Height measurement
If there are variations in height, provide the measurements from the left and right hand sides. We generally use the smallest measurement. If ordering a complete wardrobe we require the floor to ceiling height to be provided as well as the floor to bottom of cornice height (if you would like a bulk head supplied).
2. Width measurement
Provide the width measurement at the bottom and top if ordering sliding doors only. If ordering a complete wardrobe that includes one or two return panels we only require the overall width you would like the wardrobe. If the complete wardrobe will be situated between existing walls we will require the door opening width and the wardrobe internal width (if different to the door opening).
